In this episode, Jared and Garett explore the question: Should we raise our kids in the outdoors? They discuss the challenges of introducing children to a way of life that’s slowly fading, from exposure to the elements to the realities of hunting in an increasingly commercialized, competitive landscape. With public access shrinking and hunting pressure rising, is it still worth teaching kids the values of outdoor life, knowing it may become harder for them to experience in the future? Or should we guide them towards hobbies that might be less fraught with future disappointments?
