The Bovasin Outdoor Chronicles
We promise to bring our passion, expertise, and sense of humor to every episode (but we can't promise we won't get lost or accidentally set our tent on fire... again). Each episode, we share stories from our hunting and fishing escapades, offer our two cents on the current issues, and provide a platform for discussing key topics with local expert guests. Whether you're rushing to fish a stream after work, taking your gun dog out on the weekend, or embarking on your annual hunting trip, you'll find something to connect with, learn, or enjoy along with us. We know that outdoor adventures can be unpredictable, and we've had our fair share of mishaps and embarrassing moments, but we take our responsibility as outdoorsmen seriously and promote responsible outdoor recreation and conservation efforts. We make sure to share our adventure but not our location.

Hunting the White Ghosts: A Montana Mountain Goat Saga
Join the Bovasin crew as we recount an unforgettable 7-day backcountry mountain goat hunt in the remote wilderness of Montana. In late October, we were dropped 5 miles into the snow-covered terrain on horseback, where daily storms and deep drifts tested our resolve. After steep hikes up mountain ridges, following black bear tracks and navigating 1000-foot cliffs, we finally spotted the elusive mountain goat on the 4th day. On the 5th day, we harvested a stunning, haired-out trophy. The adventure didn’t end there—our 19.2-hour trek out of the wilderness, through grizzly-infested forests, alongside fresh mountain lion tracks, and shadowed by a mysterious creature with glowing yellow eyes, was the final test of endurance. By the end of the journey, we had covered a total of 55 miles on foot. Tune in to hear about this epic saga of resilience, wildlife encounters, and the ultimate reward of a hard-fought hunt.
